Tekno Surgical, part of Uniphar Medtech, is recruiting a Spinal Implant and Interventional Pain Specialist to join our growing Team in Ireland.
Spinal Implant Systems Sales to Spinal Surgeons in Key Accounts will form the substantive part of the role and the role will also have responsibility for sales of Interventional Pain Systems and consumables.
Additionally, the role will also involve supporting the sales of Spine Technologies such as Navigation and Robotics.
The role will be mainly Leinster however the candidate will be occasionally required to service other Accounts as part of the Ireland Spine Team.
Key Responsibilities
* Sales of the complete Spine & Interventional Pain Portfolio in your Accounts.
* The working environment will be mainly in the Operating Theatre.
* Assist customers with clinical, technical and commercial enquires.
* Develop relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships
* Achievement of sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis.
* Business planning and implementation throughout area of responsibility. Development of new business opportunities and determination of new client and market potential through your contact with Customers, Colleagues, and the Companies who Tekno represents in the Irish Market.
* Systematic collection, presentation and interpretation of market and competitor information
* Provide feedback on customers, promotional programs and environmental changes and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the market place
* Implementation of new product launches and other corporate activities within area of responsibility
* Attendance at relevant conferences and meetings both in Ireland and elsewhere.
Key Skills & Experiences
* A Technical Qualification and an aptitude for learning new Surgical Technologies. A minimum of 3+ years' successful track record in medical sales or technology service in the hospital environment is desirable.
* Candidates must have the ability to be comfortable working in the Hospital Operating Room environment.
* Role requires both Technical and Sales Skills, with a primary focus on Customer Service & Patient Safety.
* High reliance on drive and planning/organisational skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills: Customer focused with strong influencing skills
* Good administrative and computing skills
* Commercially aware, be able to manage a complex business.
* Self-motivated and team player
* Full, clean driver's license
