Sous Chef for Hotel South Dublin
This Dublin city hotel is looking for a suitable Sous Chef to work alongside the Head Chef and assist in bringing the Hotel up to the next level. The ideal candidate must come from a 4* hotel background.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensure full adherence to hygiene and safety in accordance with the Hotel, Health and Safety policy and the Health and Safety at Work Act.
2. Support the kitchen operations for the property.
3. Support the Head Chef in their duties.
4. Lead by example in excellent food production.
5. Assist in the training of existing and new staff in accordance with standards.
6. Pass on all knowledge that will help the property in its day-to-day running.
7. Maintain a high level of food quality that will exceed guests’ expectations with every dish.
Requirements for the Role:
1. The ideal candidate should have experience in a high-end 4-star hotel with 2-3 years of experience.
2. Must have banqueting experience.
3. Valid work permit.
4. Work well as part of a team.
5. Have a passion for cooking while creating innovative dishes for menu changes.
6. Excellent hygiene and HACCP experience.
