This is a hands-on, full-spectrum HR role supporting multiple sites. It offers the opportunity to gain broad exposure while delivering meaningful, day-to-day support to a large operational workforce.
Role Summary
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, this is a hands-on Senior HR Generalist role with a core focus on employee relations and coaching operational line managers. It's suited to someone experienced in fast-paced environments who enjoys autonomy and visible impact.
About the Company & HR Dept
Operating across Ireland with approximately 1,500 employees, their culture is fast-moving and people-focused, underpinned by strong leadership support.
The HR team includes HRBPs, Partners, Admins, and dedicated functions like L&D, TA, Payroll, Legal, and H&S.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Act as the primary HR contact for approximately 300 employees across regional locations.
2. Handle a wide range of ER issues, including absenteeism, H&S, SOP compliance.
3. Coach managers to build their confidence in handling HR matters.
4. Collaborate with the HR team to plan and execute initiatives focused on engagement, recruitment, and retention.
5. Assist in performance management, onboarding, and HR reporting.
6. Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
7. Coordinate the onboarding process, including pre-boarding and induction.
8. Maintain accurate employee records and analyse HR data for insights.
9. Update and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
10. Generate regular and ad-hoc HR reports for the business.
11. Support Learning & Development initiatives and HR projects.
What We’re Looking For
1. 3+ years of experience as an established HR Generalist.
2. Confident in ER casework and decision-making.
3. CIPD-qualified or holding a relevant HR degree.
4. Solid knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
5. Organised, pragmatic and people-first in approach.
6. Experienced in working with senior stakeholders in a matrixed or operational environment.

How They Work
