Charlene Cooke Healthcare Recruitment is thrilled to partner with a highly reputable hospital in Waterford to recruit a highly motivated, Senior MRI Radiographer to join its dynamic, growing MRI team.
The successful candidate will join a well-established Radiology Department, featuring the latest imaging technology and a team of highly skilled Radiographers.

Your new company:
A very well-respected hospital in Waterford, renowned for delivering exceptional patient care and advanced medical treatments. This Hospital has experienced significant growth in recent years, and they are now seeking an experienced Senior MRI Radiographer to join their team on a permanent basis, either full time or part time.

Position Overview:
As a Senior MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services and ensuring optimal patient care. You will be competent to perform advanced MRI imaging procedures with precision and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
* Supervise and mentor junior radiographers and students, providing guidance and support.
* Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and accuracy and collaborate with radiologists for interpretation.
* Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
* Develop and implement MRI protocols and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
* Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
* Participate in continuous professional development and training programs to stay updated with advancements in MRI technology and practices.
* Contribute to quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the MRI department.
* Collaborate with other departments and professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Eligibility Criteria:
* Must hold a Diploma/Degree in Radiography.
* Must hold CORU registration.
* Competent in using Siemens scanners.
* Extensive experience in MRI imaging, with strong technical and clinical skills.
* Proven leadership and team management abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to work under pressure and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
