About the Role
Outbound Product Managers combine a deep understanding of product capabilities, domain knowledge, industry trends, and competitive intelligence to inform our roadmap. They enable our customers, partners, and GTM teams to realize the value delivered.
What you will do in this role:
1. Be the point-of-contact for Financials Tax & Compliance and Consolidations for GTM teams, Marketing, and Services and support them during the Land-Adopt-Expand-Renew operating cycle.
2. Use competitor analysis, industry trends, product analytics, as well as insights from customers and internal customer-facing functions to inform the roadmap.
3. Be the voice of our customers and apply your understanding of use cases and success outcomes to influence feature design and implementation strategy.
4. Create and publish content that communicates the “what” and “why” of our features, connecting product capabilities to value.
5. Design and execute feature adoption initiatives to achieve success outcomes and ensure that customers continuously realize value.
6. Craft and deliver high-quality presentations to a variety of audiences at conferences, customer visits, and during sales cycles.
7. Support industry analyst engagements to help position Workday Financials as an industry leader.
About You
Basic Qualifications
8. 6+ years experience in either product management or consulting.
9. Direct experience or deep understanding of Financials Tax & Compliance as well as Consolidations: global withholding tax, general principles of VAT, corporate or consolidations accounting and core financial enterprise business applications.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead customer engagements and present to large audiences.

11. Experience building cross-team relationships with effective outcomes.
12. Proven understanding of design thinking and product development process.
13. Able to make tradeoff decisions, participate in a culture of knowledge sharing and transparency, and appreciate the challenges engineering and product teams face.
14. Experience developing or supporting enterprise SaaS products.
15. MBA degree is a plus
