Job DescriptionThis position provides the Co-Op Student, as part of their college studies, the experience of working in a regulated medical device company.
Key Areas of ResponsibilityThe Co-Op Student, under supervision, assists Engineers in providing basic design, technical, and operational support to manufacturing processes.Ensure quality of process and product as defined in appropriate OS and Material specifications.Interface with Operations and Quality Assurance departments to provide customers with a quality product in a timely manner.Support Engineers in the Validation, Appraisal, and support of process and material suppliers as required.Communicate and participate in system and process troubleshooting with support team members and external agents.Participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives.Provide support to the team and department by completing other activities as required.Ensure compliance with the Quality, Safety, and 5S Systems.As a student, effectively adapt to working in a workplace by being dependable, reliable, punctual, self-motivated, hardworking, organized, and a team-player.Stryker is a global leader in medical technologies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better.
