We have a fantastic full-time opportunity for a Dental Receptionist to join our newly acquired Tully Dental Clondalkin practice. At least 1+ years experience as a dental receptionist is required. Ideally located on Monastery Road. Induction training will be provided. Monday to Friday work pattern.

The Dental Receptionist is responsible for providing excellent service to our patients. The Receptionist will work in close partnership with the team, take instruction from the Dentist and Practice Manager and have the ability to take ownership and responsibility for policies and procedures in the practice, as set out by Dental Care Ireland and other regulatory bodies.
Tasks and responsibilities
* Providing excellence in customer service.
* Greeting and registering patients on a day-to-day basis at the reception desk.
* Providing information and reassurance to patients about their treatment.
* Handling, recording and resolving patient complaints in line with company guidelines.
* Phone and email management throughout the day.
* Daily cashing up exercise for the practice.
* Appointment book management to ensure maximisation of working hours.
* Providing support to clinicians by sending prescriptions, referral letters, x-rays etc.
* Performing any local administration tasks such as filing/scanning/lodgements/postage etc.
* Payor claim administration for GMS/PRSI/VHI/DeCare.
* Eligibility checking - claims and ensuring accuracy of claim forms.
* Tracking of claims - payment reconciliation.
* Running daily, weekly and monthly reports from Exact.
* Completion of various spreadsheets for accounts purposes (i.e. cash sheet, trackers etc).
* Key holder duties.
* Assisting the practice manager to achieve agreed company KPIs.
Qualifications/Experience
Essential
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
* At least 1 year of work experience in a receptionist role.
* Fluent in written and oral English.
* Must be adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel and Word, Internet and mail.
Desirable
* Dental/medical background.
