Health & Safety Coordinator Job Description
This role is a contract position with the possibility of becoming permanent. We are seeking an experienced individual to work as a Health & Safety Coordinator in our facility in Naas, Co. Kildare.
Main Responsibilities:
* Implement and manage H&S standards within the facility.
* Manage daily H&S administration tasks.
* Liaise with various departments to develop policies, procedures, and guidelines for risk management.
* Support the delivery of key performance metrics.
* Develop and provide ongoing training programs.
* Contribute to service planning and implement plan objectives.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* A Level 8 Healthcare qualification or equivalent in H&S, Medical Device Technology, Quality & Risk Management.
* Experience working in a healthcare setting in Occupational H&S or an advisory role/Quality & Safety.
* Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders on health & safety projects/initiatives.
* Knowledge of H&S policies and procedures.
* Proficiency in MS Office skills and computer literacy.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
