The role sits within the AML Client Services team which services a broad range of AML / KYC services including Client and delegate KYC, Money Laundering Reporting Officer (‘MLRO’) reporting, Asset / Investment and Distributor KYC, Beneficial Ownership filing, Ongoing Monitoring and Screening.
What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?
1. Hold a Third level Qualification (Preferably Legal/Business).
2. Graduates welcome (Ideally 2+ years of experience in the funds industry).
3. Ideally has experience in an AML/CTF and/or Transfer Agency role.
4. The professional Certificate/Diploma in Compliance from the ACOI would be an advantage.
What is your role and your responsibilities?
1. Completing KYC reviews of clients, delegates and investments/assets in line with AML policies and procedures.
2. Performing screening against financial sanction, PEP and adverse media lists and investigating any alerts.
3. Reviewing, understanding and discussing anti-money laundering regulations with clients and their counterparties.
4. Generating MLRO reporting for Fund Boards, including Fund AML / CTF policies, Risk Assessments and stopped account reporting.
5. Interacting with Fund Administrators and Investment Managers to obtain and query relevant investor and investment information.
6. Responding to client and counterparty queries via e-mail and telephone in a timely manner.
7. Preparing and filing quarterly beneficial ownership information.
8. Participating in allocated working group(s) and ad hoc projects as required.
9. Challenging the status quo and identifying areas for improvement.
