Job Description:
We're seeking a talented Regional Director to lead our project management team in delivering successful projects that create a positive impact around the world. As a key member of our global team, you'll be responsible for:
1. Leading Project Management Commissions to ensure timely and quality delivery;
2. Undertaking line management and supervisory responsibilities, supporting, motivating, and mentoring team members;
3. Contributing to the management of project management team outputs, adhering to agreed timescales and quality standards;
4. Engaging with the construction and design team to mitigate risks and maintain meticulous records;
5. Coordinating and reviewing management information produced by project management teams;
6. Developing strong relationships with clients and cross-functional team members;
7. Serving as the main interface with AECOM clients;
8. Leading design management on large complex projects;
9. Managing tender documents, appraisals, and negotiations on large complex projects;
10. Formulating and managing construction contracts on large complex projects;
11. Progressing business development opportunities with existing and new clients;
12. Supporting 'winning' clients through effective communication and professional behaviors;
13. Providing leadership within project management business and mentoring to the team;
14. Managing project finances, resourcing, audits, and reviews for a portfolio of projects;
15. Formulating fee proposals;
16. Supporting Project Managers through Professional Chartership;
17. Actively participating in recruitment and retention activities;
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
1. A Professionally Qualified degree in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying;
2. Chartered Status with RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE, or equivalent institution;
3. Knowledge and experience working with stakeholders/clients to produce Strategic Development Briefs and Client/User requirements;
4. Knowledge and experience working in complex, multi-disciplinary/multi-agency Project Teams;
