About TS&A Ireland
Technology Strategy & Advisory is a key part of our growing Strategy & Consulting service. Here, we develop company-wide IT and digitalisation strategies that exploit ground-breaking technologies and strategically advise our Fortune 500 CIO clients on how to reinvent their IT operating models, enterprise and data architectures, take advantage of cloud, and improve the value they are getting from their IT investments.
The Opportunity for You
As a Senior Manager, you will be involved in:
* Collaborating with industry and business specialists to develop comprehensive transformation strategies and roadmaps
* Advising on the most suitable frameworks, operating models and technologies to adopt
* Conducting maturity assessments and recommending next most valuable steps
* Training and coaching clients on adopting agile practices, operating model modernisation and technology solutions
* Analysing industry context, interviewing key client stakeholders, building and facilitating client workshops, and ensuring a fact-based approach to adopting technology and organisational transformation
* Leading multi-disciplinary teams to shape, sell and implement technology transformation programmes
Qualifications & Background:
We are looking for experienced technology practitioners and coaches who can develop and cultivate long-term client relationships, become key contributors within multidisciplinary cross-functional project teams, embrace diversity and inclusion, and are creative problem solvers with a passion for transforming enterprise technology organisations.
* Experience of 10+ years in the area of technology transformation, strategy or advisory as part of leading technology organisation
* Proven experience in defining and delivering impactful, effective, and pragmatic transformation strategies
* Personal and professional attributes required to convince senior leadership to take bold actions and coach them through major change
* Ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues and cultivate mentoring collaborations willing to become technology advisors
* First-class written and verbal communication skills
* Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
* Drive, enjoy a challenge, proven ability to adapt and remove obstacles to achieve results, determination and optimism
* Experienced storyteller with data and ability to communicate findings to a non-technical audience
* Lead teams developing proposals
Desirable:
* BA, BSc or MSc qualified, preferably in an engineering, technology or business-related field
* Experience within the Financial Services, Health and Public Sector, Resources (Energy & Utilities), Software or Products (Consumer Goods & Services, Retail) industries
* Knowledge of, and passion for, business and technology trends such as GenAI, Microservices/Containers/APIs, Blockchain, ZBx, Platform Business Models, RegTech, Big Data, Internet of Things
* Experience in one or more of the following:
o Mentoring teams to become more agile and adopting Agile delivery methods
o Architecting operating model change, workforce transformation, or product management
o Shaping enterprise architectures to meet business strategy
o Modern engineering practices
o ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) and/or PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) tools
o Certifications on:
+ SAFe, LeSS or other Agile frameworks
+ Cloud practitioner for leading cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
+ Architecture (e.g. TOGAF, TOG Certified Architect, DAMA Data Management)
