An amazing opportunity has arisen for an Assoc. Director, Utilities for our Dunboyne site. The role will lead the setup of a new Site Services Group, that will consist of Specialists, some who will support the site 24 x 7, Subject Matter Experts in Utilities and other technical support staff. Ownership of the operations and maintenance of critical systems which includes Life Safety, Electrical, Steam and Waste management will be part of the responsibilities. The team will play a vital role in the efficient operations of the site ensuring Safety First, Quality Always, and high availability and reliability of the systems they will own. The role will also lead transformational projects as the Dunboyne site ramps up production and increases the number of New Product Introductions.
Tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for the operations and maintenance of all critical utilities systems including Fire Detection and Protection, Electrical, Water for Injection, Clean Steam, Process HVAC, and Electrical systems.Build a high-performance team that delivers right-first time to agreed schedule milestones throughout the project duration.Develop the skills of the team, stimulate personal growth and development with effective coaching and training programs.Collaborate and work cross-functionally to develop and deliver on all aspects of the project and commercialization activities to meet schedule milestones.Driving operational and technical excellence, harnessing the power of data and digital technology for decision making.Drive effective writing/revising/rolling out of accurate operational procedures, training materials and maintenance procedures, ensure all work is subsequently carried out in line with same.Resolve issues and escalate risks in a timely fashion to the relevant on-site stakeholders.Energy Management, Environmental Sustainability & Business Continuity.Develop Budgets and oversee cost controls for area.Asset Lifecycle Planning and improvement projects.Supporting and facilitating project sub-teams.The passion to participate in and lead highly effective teams.A great communicator, decisive decision-maker with a proven ability to deliver excellence.A passion for coaching others by sharing your skill set and expertise.High personal integrity, credibility, energy, and flexibility.Set clear performance standards; overcome obstacles; hold ourselves and others accountable for achieving results.The desire to continuously learn, improve and develop.High level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.Confidence to respond positively when under pressure.Your profile: Level 8 Degree qualification or equivalent (Science, Engineering, Technical).Demonstrated energy and enthusiasm, the Associate Director Utilities will be a role model for safety, environmental and quality compliance.Demonstrated leadership with at least 5 years' experience in a people management role.Experienced in change management and leading improvement projects.Demonstrated site operations experience, from capital project and commissioning support to manufacturing operations.Proven track-record in delivering results in a cross-functional environment.Innovative thinker, with excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of and experience in applying Lean/Reliability Excellence methodologies.We keep the patient at the very heart of all that we do and strive to find solutions and treatments for some of the world's most challenging healthcare needs.
