We would like to invite applications for the position of Receptionist in Beaumont Lodge Transitional Care Unit, Kilmore Road, Dublin 5.
Purpose of the Role
To effectively provide receptionist and administrative support to the Nursing Home & Head Office and enhance the smooth effective operation of the home from an administrative perspective.
€13.75 per hour.
Mon- Fri: 9 am to 5 pm
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
* Meet and greet all visitors in a pleasant and welcoming manner.
* Answer all phone calls and record messages correctly and provide messages (written & email) for Home Manager left in their office before he/she commences work the following morning.
* Direct visitors and/or authorized workmen to the appropriate area(s) as requested.
* Ensure all lights, printers, and electric fires are switched off where required.
* Ensure all remaining post is delivered to Residents and outgoing post is sent out.
Occupancy & Marketing
* Answer enquiries.
* Assist with visitor tours.
* Assist the home manager by arranging teas and coffee.
* Maintain chiropody cards and update the healthcare system.
* Conduct resident surveys, checking all received, sorting, and leaving ready for the administrator to send to the support office.
* Assist with general administrative duties as requested by the home manager or senior administrator.
Role Requirements
Personal Hygiene and Appearance:
* Polished appearance.

* Familiar with and follow the standards stipulated.
Eligibility Criteria/Qualifications and/or Experience
Qualifications:
* QQI Level 5 qualification as a medical receptionist or
* Diploma in Administration or relevant discipline or
* Diploma in communications or business.
* Prior experience with Microsoft Office and typing.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Organized and resourceful.
* Customer-focused.
* Active listener.
* Excellent written, numerical, and analytical skills.
* Strong IT skills.
* Highly organized.
