As an Analyst, your role is to produce a suite of regulatory returns for the Central Bank of Ireland and European Banking Authority. This spans the interpretation of regulatory guidelines, design, and automation of reporting processes and report outputs.
This role requires a technical skillset (strong SAS/SQL & Excel), regulatory reporting, and business knowledge.
Responsibilities:
* Produce both scheduled and ad hoc regulatory reports on all aspects of the bank’s portfolios, with a high level of accuracy and adhering to tight timeframes.
* Produce high-quality returns that are in compliance with the regulations and internal guidelines on regulatory report production.
* Select and apply tools and techniques to aid returns and ad hoc analysis. Select, acquire, and integrate data for analysis.
* Work with other functions within the business, communicating effectively the team requirements while building effective working relationships with internal and external partners.
Requirements:
* Experience working as a data analyst, ideally within the Banking Industry.
* Ability to meet tight deadlines and work to a plan while understanding the need for flexibility in a problem-solving/task-oriented working environment.
* Proven experience with SQL or SAS.
* Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
* An innovative, creative approach to problem solving.
* An ability to assess facts to make good decisions, often under time pressure.
This is a permanent role based in PTSB’s St. Stephens Green, Dublin.
