This role is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong project management skills to drive impactful initiatives in public transport services. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will work closely with the client to support the delivery of strategic projects, operational enhancements, and transportation initiatives. Key responsibilities include: Project Management: Lead and coordinate transport-related projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with the clients strategic goals and compliance with industry standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main liaison between the client and project stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships to facilitate effective communication and project delivery. Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct detailed analyses on transport data to inform project decisions, prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders, and recommend solutions for identified issues. Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulations, guidelines, and best practices within the transport sector. Auditing: Internal, external Risk Management: Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve project management methodologies and operational processes to enhance project delivery and efficiency. Key Requirements: The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical knowledge, project management expertise, and stakeholder engagement skills. Essential requirements include: Bachelors degree in Transport Planning, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience managing complex projects, Strong knowledge of transport regulations and industry standards within Ireland (Desirable) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. Demonstrated capability in building and managing stakeholder relationships. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, with occasional on-site visits as required.
