Fine Dining Head Chef/Chef de Cuisine
We are seeking an experienced Fine Dining Head Chef/Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary team in a luxury 5-star hotel in The Galway area.
This role requires the ability to oversee the overall resort when the Executive Head Chef is absent, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of kitchen operations, including menu creation, supply ordering, and quality control.
* Management of kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
* Collaboration with the Executive Head Chef and front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
* Maintenance of high standards in food quality, presentation, and safety.
* Leadership and motivation of the culinary team to achieve excellent results.
Qualifications:
* Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
* 3-5 years as a Sous or Head Chef in a fine dining restaurant, preferably with 2-3 Rosette or Michelin standard.
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant.
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Excellent knowledge of food and cooking techniques.
* Ability to create menus that balance creativity and profitability.

* Experience in managing budgets and maintaining cost controls.
* Ability to remain calm and perform well under pressure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in high-volume and fast-paced environments.
