The Category Manager role is complex, encompassing technical, commercial, and legal/regulatory elements with a focus on Carbon Reduction/Sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
* Legal & Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with Value-for-Money, legal, and audit requirements for Works, Goods, and Services contracts across the Facilities category.
* Sustainability Leadership: Analyzing expenditure across the category from a Sustainability & Biodiversity perspective to support Trinity in meeting its Gap to Target Obligations for 2030.
* Procurement Strategy/Value for Money: Identifying opportunities for achieving Value for Money and bringing Facilities Management plans to fruition.
* Category & Supplier Management: Delivering industry-standard/best practice Category Management for the Facilities Management team and engaging with Government agencies to bring projects to market.
* Facilities Projects: Developing project-specific procurement and contracting strategies, including contract management for resulting agreements.
Requirements
* A 3-year fixed-term contract
* 35 hours per week
* A salary on the Administrative 1 scale (€68,181- €107,959 per annum)
