Assistant Food & Beverage Manager 4* Cork
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at a 4-star hotel in Cork.
The successful candidate will assist the Food & Beverage Manager in managing all aspects of food and beverage operations, ensuring a high standard of service consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, bar, and banquet facilities.
* Provide leadership and facilitate a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all.
* Maintain and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Ensure that all food and beverage products are of high quality, properly prepared, and presented, and served in a timely manner.
* Oversee the training and development of food and beverage staff, including performance management.
* Manage customer issues and concerns, and take appropriate corrective action when necessary.
* Ensure that all food and beverage equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
* Assist with the coordination and execution of banquets and events.
* Work closely with the hotel teams in Sales, H&S, Customer Care & Sustainability.
Requirements:
* Positive attitude and a can-do approach.
* Experience in all aspects of F&B, including conferences, weddings, banquets, restaurant, and Bar.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and management skills.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Knowledge of food and beverage service and preparation.
