As in-house Solicitor, you will provide legal support on a broad range of commercial contracts and agreements, ensuring the company's interests are protected while facilitating smooth business operations.This role will involve close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, making it a pivotal position within the organisation.Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, amendments to terms and conditions of third-party service provider and other vendor agreements.Advise on and manage a wide range of legal issues including commercial and regulatory matters.Evaluate and weigh up multiple inputs/impacts of decisions/courses of action and identify proactive solutions to mitigate risks.Ensure all agreements meet Financial Service regulations, as well as General Data Protection Regulations.Perform other tasks and projects as assigned from time to time.Qualifications & Experience:Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE).Strong experience in commercial contract law, ideally with exposure to the Financial Services, Payments, or Credit Union industry.Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts.Knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues in the payments industry an advantage.Strong commercial awareness and the ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Knowledge of and experience with General Data Protection Regulations and Outsourcing Obligations for Regulated Firms would be an advantage.What's On Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work within a growing company within the payments industry.A supportive and collaborative work environment with opportunities for career growth.Exposure to a wide range of legal matters, enhancing professional development.
