My client is a fast-growing contractor who is looking for an Estimator to join on a permanent role.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing project and bid strategies.
You will do so by analysing project proposals and historical cost data.
Ultimately, your work will help us develop new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Control:
* Tender Document Control for each drawing, specification, tender addenda, and all other documentation to ascertain what work elements need to be measured and priced.
* File finalised documentation for future reference as per company filing structures.
Quantification of work:
Pricing:
* Obtain quotations from the local market from vendors or subcontractors.
Interrogate these quotations for scope gaps and variances and input correct figures into the bid.
Requirements:
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying 5+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying/Estimating role Mission critical (preferably Pharmaceutical) commercial experience desirable.
Competent in assessing Contract Documents and contract requirements Proven track record working on projects over €20-€25 million High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
High level of competency in BQ preparation and pricing.
