Are you an Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5+ years of experience working in the Energy Industry? This is a full-time permanent position based in Kildare.
Electrical Engineer - Energy Industry - Kildare
Our client is a leading Irish multi-disciplinary Engineering company based in County Kildare. They are looking for experienced Electrical Engineers for projects in the energy industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Review and understand schematics, GA plans, and project specifications.
2. Design development, validate equipment and systems.
3. Develop scopes, specifications, and carry out LV design.
4. Report to the Project Manager on project progress, risks, and issues.
5. Analyse supplier information for alignment with design specifications.
6. Co-ordinate on projects effectively.
7. Knowledge of Trimble Pro design, Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
8. Work well under pressure and within strict deadlines.
9. Drive large-scale projects.
10. Ensure Construction Team adheres to all contractual requirements and provide advice and monitoring.
11. Manage overall project delivery from inception to completion.
12. Provide daily and weekly progress reports on works completed.
13. Chair and attend regular meetings with the client.
14. Identify issues and risks early and resolve or escalate appropriately.
15. Schedule workload, equipment, and resources.
16. Liaise with the SHEQ Manager on all project SHEQ matters.
17. Support Business Development through tendering and networking.
18. Adhere to core Customer Care principles.
Job Requirements:
1. Experience working on multi-discipline projects.
2. A Degree in Engineering or Management plus a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in the industry.
3. Experience in LV electrical systems and openness to developing knowledge in MV/HV.
4. Excellent commercial knowledge and understanding.
5. Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office packages, including diagnostic skills.
6. Set clear and appropriate goals; focus on targets; demonstrate enthusiasm and drive to deliver quality performance.
7. Ability to motivate and encourage others while taking the lead.
