Due to continuing growth within the Center of Expertise (CoE), we are currently hiring for a number of open positions across our teams. We hold various start dates throughout the year, usually one per quarter.
What You’ll Do:
Work directly with our customers as we release generative AI-powered capabilities and features natively into our cloud business software, including Joule, our generative AI copilot that transforms how people interact with their processes and data. The Associate Business Process Consultant of the Center of Expertise (CoE) contributes with technical and functional expertise to deliver a portfolio of services that drive value through a combination of best practices, tools, knowledge, and experience to drive time to value and accelerate our customers’ transition to the cloud. Our CoE Early Talent Program is seeking Associate Business Process Consultants to deliver onsite and remote customer service via project engineering, assessment, and safeguarding services from SAP's best practice solutions.
Complete an intensive 2-month SAP training with certifications, instructor-led classroom and practical training followed by 3 months of product/technology-specific training to prepare you to support our customers with their SAP projects, implementations, and landscape planning. This training is provided as part of the full-time, permanent role.
Responsibilities:
1. Become a trusted Associate Business Process Consultant in some of SAP's world-renowned products, including S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Analytics Cloud, and a range of Application-based products.
2. Be responsible for empowering SAP customers with development topics like HANA vector engine, CAP, LLM, RAG, HANA ML, and ISLM topics.
3. Provide Global Mission Critical support for issue resolution in your specific area of expertise.
4. Be responsible for delivering AI projects involving Cloud Application programming model and SAP Gen AI capabilities.
5. Collaborate closely, working with Development, Sales, and Operational organisations within SAP to ensure end-to-end analysis of a customer business solution to execute the best engagement plan to safeguard their solution as an engineer, project manager, or Technology advisor.
6. Support SAP customers on their S/4HANA Digital transformation journeys and AI adoption journeys through different services part of PE Max attention portfolio.

What you bring:
1. 2-3 years’ working experience with proven ability in a customer-facing role.
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Physics, Maths, Engineering.
3. Technical inquisitive nature with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to lead by example with technical competency to provide coaching and mentoring.
5. Communication skills and strong business acumen.
6. Experience in agile development.
7. Customer-centric and able to conduct/lead technical workshops to customers.
8. Development/consulting experience will be an added advantage.
9. Positive attitude towards work showing tenacity, adaptability, and networking skills.
Additional Skills (optional):
1. Expertise in HANA Modelling (HANA Calculation Views) and Core Data Services (ABAP CDS and HANA CDS Modelling).
2. Expertise in HANA SQL and HANA Procedures.
3. Expertise on performance optimization techniques for HANA Views and ABAP CDS Views.
4. Experience in Machine Learning or embedding AI capabilities onto applications.
5. Experience in Data Science (working with different ML algorithms) and Data Analytics on LLM.
6. Basic understanding of HANA Native Application Development based on XSC or XSA or HANA Cloud.
7. Strong communication skills for coordinating with customers, front-office team, and back-office team.
8. Python / Node JS / Java programming is a plus.
9. Full stack application development experience is a plus.

Qualified candidates should possess the required technical and application competencies with committed professionalism, desire, and passion in managing critical customers. All candidates will need to demonstrate the required skills to support the team drive technical development and embrace customer ownership. Knowledge of Services Delivery processes, portfolio, and procedures is a strong requirement.

In general, our hybrid work setup consists of three days a week in the office or on-site with customers or partners. This position can be based in either the Galway or Dublin locations.
