Overview Working within this insurance firm's inhouse law firm you will support its Solicitors in Personal Injury Defence Litigation.
Responsibilities include assisting its Solicitors managing injury claims, coordinating experts, preparing for negotiations and trial assistance.
You will sit within the Claims Department and collaborate closely with the Claims Handlers.
Your Responsibilities - Managing injury claims across all court jurisdictions, creating case files, drafting legal documents, and tracking deadlines to ensure proactive case progression.
- Liaising with the Claims Department, Solicitors, Barristers, opposing Counsel and expert witnesses to coordinate case strategy and proceedings.
- Preparing case files, legal documentation, and supporting Solicitors in settlement negotiations and trial proceedings.
- Contributing to general legal duties as required.
Your Background Relevant professional or third-level qualification, preferably in Legal Studies, with experience in insurance or injury claims litigation.
Organised and detail-oriented, with strong administration, multitasking, and case management skills to work independently.
Proficient in case management systems and office software, with the ability to work efficiently in a predominantly paperless environment.
Adaptable and results-driven, with a strong understanding of litigation processes, the ability to meet deadlines, and perform under pressure.
