Gourmet Food Parlour have an exciting new vacancy in their Catering Kitchen in Santry. Our Deli Assistant will work on many different stations as assigned by the Head Chef and Sous Chef and is responsible for ensuring that standards are maintained for his/her section.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Assist in the preparation and service of all food items according to GFP recipes and standards Ensure all preparation of the designated section is complete and as per the catering quote Ensure good stock and waste control is practised Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards Execute deli preparation to the expected high standard quickly and efficiently Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of designated section Support Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering required standard of food Maintain a positive and proactive attitude at all times and seek to improve and advance your skill set and performance Comply with all Health and Safety regulations Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef and management Skills and Abilities Required Punctual, organised and trustworthy Professional appearance Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Ability to work cohesively as part of a team Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner Ability to solve problems and think on your feet Willingness to take initiative and make decisions Ability to delegate tasks effectively Benefits : Free Car Parking EAP Service Flexible working Training and development
