Job Title: Full-Time Senior Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at CareChoice Sub-Acute Facility.

Responsibilities:
* Manage own caseload and assess, plan, implement and evaluate treatment/intervention programmes for service users according to service standards.
* Conduct assessments including seating, functional, hand, cognitive evaluations and recommendations on environmental layout.
* Collaborate with service users, family, carers and other staff in treatment/intervention planning and provide support and advice.
* Plan discharge or transition of service user between services as appropriate.
* Evaluate and document all assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, reports and discharge summaries in accordance with professional standards.
* Foster and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, front-line managers and other healthcare personnel.
* Be involved in service planning and development by anticipating changing needs of service and service users.
* Demonstrate commitment to research and evidence-based practice, identifying and contributing to research opportunities.
* Document and communicate results of assessments, treatment/intervention programmes and recommendations to the team and relevant others.
* Arrange and carry out duties in a timely manner within settings appropriate to service users' needs.
* Maintain quality standards of practice and participate in quality assurance and clinical audits.
* Adhere to existing standards and protocols and lead on quality improvement and outcome measurement strategies.
* Incorporate national and international Evidence-Based Occupational Therapy Practice into their work.
* Ensure professional standards are maintained in relation to confidentiality, ethics and legislation.
* Operate within the scope of Occupational Therapy practice in Ireland and adhere to local guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria:
* Hold a recognized qualification (BSc or MSc) as an Occupational Therapist and have validation of qualifications if qualified outside Ireland.
* Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience as an Occupational Therapist.
* Registration with CORU.
* Must have own vehicle and full driving licence.
* Excellent language and communication skills.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Ireland.
