Job Description
The successful candidate will oversee the efficient running of our tarmacadam crews, ensuring that all client requirements are met on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
* Main point of contact for county council engineers, ensuring timely completion of tasks and client satisfaction.
* Responsible for planning, organisation, and execution of contracts on a day-to-day basis.
* Completes Health & Safety Inductions and maintains accurate records.
* Drafts site-specific Health & Safety Plans and Risk Assessments.
* Drafts site-specific Method Statements.
* Performs levelling and setting out tasks as necessary.
* Maintains Quality Control and management processes.
Candidate Requirements
We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer with:
* A degree in Civil Engineering and 3 years of experience.
* Prior experience in road construction is an advantage.
* A good understanding of Health & Safety regulations is beneficial.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and Excel.
* Surveying and Setting Out experience is advantageous.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Familiarity with contract documents is an advantage.
* Familiarity with Trimble Total Station is advantageous.
