We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Security Manager to join our team in Dublin, who will oversee all security operations at our manufacturing campus.
JOB SUMMARY
The Security Manager develops and oversees security policy and strategy with overall campus responsibility, ensuring security resources are effectively managed to meet business & customer requirements.
This role encompasses establishment of indirect leadership amongst Jabil’s plant-level security management, personnel & systems reporting to the Site Director.
The Security Manager is responsible for creating, managing and implementing security management programs and systems to ensure due diligence of regulatory, internal compliance security matters, company risk mitigation, and continuous improvements that yield positive quantitative results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Development, implementation and maintenance of security policies, procedures, work instructions, visual aids, inspections programs, reporting, etc.
* Confers with management, risk assessment staff, auditors, facilities and security departments, and other personnel to identify and plan for security measures. Evaluate and recommend guidance for security related threats in the campus.
* Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the Security system (CCTV/Access Control/Facial Recognition…etc.) and their associated database.
* Analyzes, selects, recommends, and coordinates installation of all security-related systems, and other security measures.
* Works with local authorities and legal representatives in investigations of possible security violations.
* Adhere to and enforce all rules and regulations associated with this position.
* Act as Emergency Coordinator for Security Team on campus.
* Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
* Weekly presentation of security incidents.
* Weekly performance feedback to security partners.
* Bi-annual Customer security audit preparation including work instructions submission, PEN Test scheduling, calibration of security equipment.
* Additional ad hoc Requirements: Support EHS/Facilities team from time to time depending on project requirements.
* Keeps Operations Director and EHS Manager informed of campus security and emergencies.
* Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by manager.
* Comply, follow, and enforce all procedures within the company security policy.
* Forecast Development and Accuracy.
Leadership And Management Responsibilities
* Partner in recruitment and hiring Security personnel.
* Monitor team member turnover; identify key factors that can be improved.
* Establish clear measurable goals and objectives by which to determine individual and team results.
* Perform team member evaluations professionally and on time.
* Drive individuals and the team to continuously improve in key operational metrics and the achievement of the organizational goals.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal Justice, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
* Certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or similar are highly desirable.
* Security Management subject matter expert with knowledge in NIST, TAPA and ISO 27001 Security Standards.
Experience:
* 5+ years of experience in security management, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Proven experience in managing security teams and handling large-scale security operations.
* Experience with security systems, access control, surveillance equipment, and emergency response procedures.
Skills and Competencies:
* Strong knowledge of security protocols, threat management, and risk assessment methodologies.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Strong communication skills (internally, customer and external partners at all levels).
* Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to emergency situations.
* Proficient with security management software, surveillance systems, and reporting tools.
