Job Description The Hotel: Aspect Hotel Dublin Park West is situated within the award-winning Park West Business Campus, near the city and all the major road networks.
Access to and from the hotel is effortless and well located within just four miles West of Dublin City Centre.
Access to the city is made easy by the local commuter train which takes just 8 minutes and there is also a regular bus service from outside the hotel.
It's the ideal spot for people travelling for business or leisure, offering 141 guest bedrooms and serviced apartments as well as excellent conference facilities.

The Role We are looking for someone who is friendly, helpful and empathetic to the core.

The Night Porter is a varied role which takes into account all the departments within the hotel and is the main port of call for customers.
You will be covering a total number of 141 guest rooms.
This includes greetings, sales, switchboard operations, billing and general queries/complaints.
This role is crucial for the everyday running of the hotel as it provides the link between all departments.
The successful candidate will have at least 1-2 years hotel reception experience and must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
Must be a team player with the ability to multi task and have a fine eye for detail.
Previous experience with Hotsoft is desirable.
About The Role What's involved in the role: Greeting guests in a warm, friendly manner Checking guests in and out with efficiency and courtesy Answering switchboard and telephone in a friendly, professional manner and transfer calls Taking reservations correctly, noting any special requests Providing night service from the bar and restaurant if required Setting up and preparing for meeting and events Deal with any guest complaints, queries and suggestions quickly and efficiently Maintaining night procedures in relation to security, customer care, health & safety and fire safety A person who may be suited to this role will have: Previous hotel experience in a front of house role Previous experience in a night working role Enthusiasm and friendliness in abundance Why work with us?
