Piping Stress Lead
Responsibilities
1. Lead big stress projects in-house.
2. Keep track of project progress (performance trackers weekly plan).
3. Assist with project resource allocation.
4. Respond to technical questions related to stress and support from in-house team, vendor, client, and contractors.
5. Attend area review meetings (assisting designer with technical questions from client and spotting piping arrangement changes or preventing client from changing flexible lines).
6. Check stress calculations developed by stress engineers.
7. Coordinate with other disciplines (process information, wall penetrations, loads to structural, vendor information, etc.).
8. Prepare critical line list for stress analysis or control and update the stress criticality level in the line list.
9. Review and approve vendor drawings and documentation.
10. Be in charge of files on JPI and technical information to other disciplines.
11. Weekly progress reporting of stress work to projects.
12. Schedule and monitor work hours.
13. Estimate work hours for stress scope.
14. Work on procedures, work instructions, and innovation to improve stress engineering efforts.
Requirements/Experience
1. Work experience with Hilti/Sikla modular profiles.
2. Plant 3D – Nice to have – 1 year.
3. Caesar – Highly desired – 15 years.
4. Navisworks – Highly desired – 5 years.
5. EU and ASME code knowledge – Highly desired – 15 years.
6. PED code knowledge – Highly desired – 15 years.
