Your New Role
As Business Development and Marketing Coordinator, you will support the business development team in identifying new projects and nurturing client relationships. Your role will also involve administrative tasks and collaboration with other departments.
This position involves conducting market research using construction intelligence, creating content, and working closely with other teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Research and identify business opportunities in both public and private sectors.
* Generate leads through e-tenders, construction intelligence software, media, and planning sites.
* Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for potential projects.
* Maintain a database of industry information.
* Support client engagement activities and ensure timely communication and follow-up.
* Maintain and update records related to business development activities.
* Support the Estimating team in producing post-tender client submissions.
* Manage the compilation of post-completion project reports and assist in the Pre-Qualification Submission process.
* Provide project direction, focus, and consistency across the Department.
* Manage the company's social media accounts, website, and other digital platforms to ensure consistent and engaging content.
* Develop content for digital marketing campaigns, such as newsletters, and social media updates.
* Assist in developing marketing plans, strategies, and events aligned with business objectives.
* Attend regular meetings with the Estimating/Business Development Director to review potential, submitted, and current applications and marketing requirements.
* Prepare reports for Directors to present at Board Meetings.
Requirements for Success
* Experience in preparing and submitting public works pre-qualifications and using e-tenders to facilitate the same.
* Experience in preparing and submitting private works pre-qualifications, expressions of interest, and presentations.
* A 3rd-level qualification in Construction, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proficient in using PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and ideally InDesign software.
* Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, social media).
* Excellent organisational skills.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
