We are seeking a seasoned Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee projects nationwide for our Kerry-based clients. The ideal candidate will possess at least 7 years of experience in total, with a proven track record of liaising with clients and local authorities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Project Design and Development: Coordinate the design team and other consultants to ensure timely completion of project briefs.
2. Levies and Contributions: Manage the coordination and payment of levies and development contributions.
3. Compliance Statements: Oversee the preparation and submission of compliance statements, commencement notices, and Assigned and Ancillary certifier appointments.
4. Construction Phase Delivery: Ensure seamless management of all aspects related to the construction phase of projects.
5. Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E): Coordinate HS&E initiatives, manage PSDP and PSCS roles, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
6. Programming and Scheduling: Develop detailed programming of works and create project execution plans to meet deadlines.
7. Progress Recording: Maintain accurate records of project progress and manage design changes.
8. Subcontractor Management: Procure subcontractors, materials, labor, plant, and preliminaries as needed.
9. Quality Control: Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with building regulations.
10. Utility Appointments: Manage utility provider appointments and designs.
11. BCAR Documentation: Oversee the preparation and submission of BCAR documentation and certifications.
12. Site Handover: Ensure a smooth Site Taking in Charge procedure and handover to Local Authorities.
Requirements:
* At least 7 years of experience in project management or a related field.
* Degree qualification in Project Management/Civil Engineering or a similar field.
* Proven ability to lead teams and manage contractors.
* Full clean driving license.
