The Transport Administrator role provides an excellent opportunity for a career-driven individual to develop their skills in transport administration.
The Role
* Support the Transport team in achieving operational efficiency.
* Creation of Proof of Delivery documents (PODs) to ensure accurate record-keeping.
* Monitoring of driver's collection notes for accuracy and completeness.
* Ensuring all contracts for deliveries are signed and received in a timely manner.
* Collaboration with other departments to streamline administrative tasks.
* Effective communication with customers regarding delivery and collection requirements.
* General transport administrative duties, including data entry and documentation management.
The Person We Need
* A proven track record in an administrative role, preferably in transport or logistics.
* Proficiency in IT systems, including knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
* Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a professional telephone manner.
* Able to provide good customer service and work effectively in a team environment.
* Prior experience in transport administration is advantageous, but not essential.
