HR Executive
We are currently hiring for a HR Executive to join our client's busy HR function. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day Human Resource activities in a hotel.
Job Summary
This is a permanent, full-time role working Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Irish employment law and best practices, as well as great interpersonal and organisational skills.
Responsibilities
* Manage the daily operations of the HR department.
* Promote employee engagement through clear communication and team management.
* Support Heads of Department with recruitment, training, performance management, and team development.
* Oversee recruitment, including advertising, screening, and onboarding.
* Ensure new employees have all necessary documents and training for a smooth onboarding experience.
* Maintain up-to-date employee files and aim for a paperless HR system.
* Ensure compliance with training requirements and arrange refresher training.
* Advise on disciplinary processes and handle employee grievances, consulting the Group HR Manager when required.
* Submit weekly payroll to the payroll department.
* Assist with the delivery of group-wide HR projects in the hotel.
Requirements
* A qualification in Human Resources Management or currently studying towards one.
* At least 3 years experience of working in a HR role or HR department.
* Strong leadership and conflict management skills.
