Are you an experienced HR professional with people management experience? Our client is looking for a Team Lead to join their HR team for a very exciting role.
Main responsibilities:
* Support the Head of People Operations in delivering a proactive and efficient People operations function. This function is responsible for all HR operational activity across the employee lifecycle including performance experience, all leave, reward, benefits, global mobility, offboarding.
* Manage the day to day responsibilities of the people operations team to provide a consistent, knowledgeable and professional service across our employee lifecycle processes, in line with policy, best practice and legislative requirements.
* Ensure the effective delivery of HR processes in a joined up, engaging and customer focused way working to defined SLAs.
* Deputise for Head of People Operations where required.
* Provide guidance and coaching to the team in dealing with employee queries.
* Build on and continuously develop our knowledge documentation and support resources to ensure consistent approach across the team in resolving queries.
* Participate in the identification and delivery of key projects/continuous improvement initiatives/additional offerings. Partner with HR Tech team to improve system processes.
* Collaborate with key partners on People insights, trends and opportunities to drive proactive solutions.
* Collaborate effectively with other people-centered teams (Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, L&D, Reward etc.) and stakeholders to keep shaping impactful moments along the employee journey.
Experience required:
* Experienced HR professional with 5+ years experience - extensive knowledge of HR generalist activities.
* Degree in HR, business or similar area.
* Experience in people management, managing, coaching and developing team members in a busy environment.
* Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with people from different levels of the organisation and across the different lines of business.
* Customer focused approach.
* Ability to build trust and stakeholder relationships both within the business and HR.
* Ability to balance conflicting demands, manage issues/projects and deliver to deadlines.
