Job Title: Automation Engineer
We are seeking a skilled engineer to support process development in an NPD environment, working on large-scale automation for medical device assembly and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and optimize high-yield, high-capability automated processes.
* Improve process equipment performance and ensure seamless transfer to manufacturing.
* Collaborate with vendors to develop and qualify automated inspection systems.
* Work closely with R&D to refine medical device designs and transition validated designs to production.
* Manage equipment design, improvements, and NPI process updates.
* Oversee documentation, process validation, and qualification activities.
* Drive continuous quality improvement and process optimization.
* Commission new manufacturing technology, support production ramp-up, and identify future development opportunities.
* Ensure new equipment and processes meet EHS compliance standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant Engineering or Science discipline.
* 5+ years of experience on automated equipment in a regulated industry.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good leadership abilities.
* Experience in automation, automated inspections, or new technology identification and development is desired.
