Construction Planner Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Planner to join our Buildings Team in Galway.

Our client is a leading Civil & Building Contractor with operations throughout Ireland.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Project Planning using MS Project & Primavera Software or Asta, and will be responsible for:
* Project Progress Measuring & Monitoring
* Project Progress Reporting
* Subcontractor Progress Monitoring
* Reporting in Project / Primavera and using Excel
* Measure quantities from drawings to generate progress reports
Key Responsibilities
The Construction Planner will provide strategic advice for safeguarding, growth, and development, engage with planning bodies as required, and work as part of a team.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A relevant Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
* 5-10 years previous experience, preferably in construction/building engineering
* Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Primavera, Asta, Excel, and MS Project
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a fully integrated team
What We Offer
In return, we offer a competitive salary of €55k - €75k depending on experience, a pension scheme, 21 annual days holidays and 9 public days, and an annual salary review.
