The role We're looking for a Project Manager to manage multiple projects in the Dublin / Leinster Region within our One Stop Shop and Better Energy Homes programmes.
Through our One Stop Shop and Generation Green Home Upgrades, we help householders reduce their carbon footprint by providing energy upgrade measures such as solar panels, windows & doors, heat pumps and insulation measures.
You will Ensure the on time, within scope and within budget, delivery of SEAI grant funded projects to our customersManage contractors who will be installing various home upgrade measures whilst ensuring all works are completed to SSE's highest standards of health & safetyDevelop the project following the sales hand over, through to final delivery, which includes the design, implementation, sign off and close outLiaise with engineers, managers, clients and all other stakeholders, ensuring the project is carried out to their requirementsReview and improve operating processes to ensure efficiencies are identified and maximisedYou have Proven experience operating as either a Project Manager or Project Coordinator within the domestic retrofit sector.
A construction related trade would be beneficialDemonstrable strong SEAI schemes understanding and in-depth knowledge of building retrofit materials and componentsExperience and strong knowledge of commercial management on retrofit projects and proven experience of managing contractors and customer expectations, to enable smooth delivery of domestic retrofit projectsThe ability to ensure compliance with company health and safety, and quality and environmental management systems, capable of challenging unsafe behaviour directly with contractors and other stakeholdersExcellent communication and organisational skills, proficient in relative software associate with the roleAbout SSE SSE has a bold ambition – to be a leading energy company in a net zero world.
