About the Role – Risk Consulting Manager Are you ready to take your career to the next level?
We're expanding our Risk Consulting team and seeking an experienced, driven Risk Consulting Manager to join us.
In this dynamic, newly created position, you'll lead the delivery of critical governance, internal audit, and risk advisory services for high-profile government, local authority, and not-for-profit clients.
As part of this role, you'll oversee high-quality Risk Consulting assignments, ensure the successful execution of complex engagements, and guide junior Risk consultants.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to make a significant impact while contributing to the ongoing growth of our Risk Consulting practice.
What You'll Do: Lead Engagements: Manage a diverse range of risk-based internal audits, governance and internal controls ensuring excellence in every deliverable—from initial planning to final reports.
Mentor & Guide: Supervise junior Risk Consultants, providing them with training and mentorship to support their development.
Collaborate with Clients: Build strong, collaborative relationships with clients, guiding them through the process and providing practical, value-added recommendations.
Shape the future: Work closely with senior management and partners to develop strategies and contribute to the growth of the practice.
Business Development: Play a key role in growing the Risk Consulting practice by supporting business development initiatives.
Report Writing & Client Bidding: Prepare detailed, high-quality reports and participate in the preparation of bids and proposals to secure new client engagements.
What You Bring: Qualifications: Chartered Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, or equivalent.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Risk Consulting or Internal Audit in Republic of Ireland or UK.
Professional services experience is a differential.
Leadership: Proven experience in managing teams, juggling multiple projects, and driving results.
Expertise: Solid understanding of risk management, internal audit processes, and corporate governance with a particular focus on government and not-for-profit sectors.
Communication: Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Initiative: A decision-maker with sound judgment and a passion for continuous improvement.
