Job Title: Health and Safety Manager
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees in a leading pharmaceutical organization in Tipperary.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide relevant EHS training to staff as required.
* Propose and carry out safety and environmental risk assessments, determining acceptable risk levels.
* Recommend and implement emergency policies, ensuring specific control systems meet required standards.
* Investigate accidents and incidents as per policy, implementing agreed corrective actions.
* Provide statistics to management and health and safety committee.
* Implement and ensure compliance with policies and current safety and environmental legislative requirements.
* Advise on potential health risks at work, employee health, and health promotion.
* Carry out external and internal environmental audits to ensure the company meets required standards.
Requirements:
* Third-Level Qualification in Health and Safety.
* 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical industry.
* Desirable: Experience within Pharmaceutical manufacturing and knowledgeable in Process Safety Management.
