DescriptionReporting to the relevant Asset Management Team Lead or delegate, the primary focus of this role is to operate and maintain all systems related to terminals and campus buildings.
Core to this is the safe provision of effective planned and reactive maintenance to support the various engineering systems and equipment assigned to the individual & team in line with key performance indicators to facilitate the successful operation of Assets at Dublin Airport terminals and campus.Responsibilities• Full ownership for the performance and uptime of the engineering systems & equipment assigned to the individual & work group by delivering a comprehensive planned maintenance regime on all Passenger sensitive equipment.• Complete reactive maintenance and repair on all asset types within our remit as directed by the team lead and where competent to do so. (Mech, Elec, controls, architectural, etc).• Work in a cross functional multi skilled environment to support, operate and maintain, electrical, mechanical & controls systems.• Demonstrate excellent and prompt communications on system issues both within asset management and among other stakeholders, internal and external. • Maintaining a clean & healthy environment in terminal and campus buildings. Work on a clean as you go basis.• Produce and maintain comprehensive, timely, records and documentation to support asset performance metrics and ensure equipment/system availability targets are achieved.• Full use of all technologies available to us is a requirement of this role, including full use of all real time mobile technologies. E.g., phones, tablets, laptops, PDA etc.• Full use of CMMS for the generation and recording of all planned, reactive, and arising corrective works. Including recording of timecards, escalations, and full completion of the appropriate workflows, to improve the performance of the system’s reliability and our processes.

• Delegate and back fill other positions and roles in other work groups and for other grades if required.• Identify & implement cost effective and customer focused maintenance solutions.• Safe and competent operation of engineering related equipment as required by the team leads, e.g., scaffold builds, MEWP operation and checks, lifting equipment, forklift, etc.• Promote, report on, and participate in a H&S culture in your work area, participate in all audits, incident reporting and safety checks – e.g., Human intrusion monitoring, Vehicle inspections, Traffic management and monitoring etc. And actively challenge those who would negatively impact on our H&S and quality standards. • Provide support and participate in all continuous improvement projects and trials on behalf of asset management.• Support across the Asset Management teams as required to familiarise, develop, and upskill shift team competencies. Participate in all training required, either internal or external of daa, to ensure competence and compliance standards are met, surpassed, and sustained. Expectation is that there would be a willingness to participate in personal professional development in this regard. • Liaise with all appropriate stakeholders either internal or external to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the baggage halls and systems. Communicate clearly, concisely, and promptly with all parties in a respectful manner and with the collaborative objective of providing an excellent customer experience.• Participate in completion, development & review of standards, documentation, reporting and work methods across Asset Management. • Support continued compliance with Dublin Airport Asset Management Standards, e.g. ISO55001/50001/45001 etc.• Full flexibility to support the Asset Management teams, our equipment and site attendance during major system failures.• Escorting of various contractors as directed by the team lead or asset management. • Take full responsibility for inventory usage and adherence to the associated procedures• Any other duties within your competence range as directed by the team lead or asset management.
Qualifications
Relevant technical qualification in mechanical (Fitting)
National craft certificate.
Experience of automation systems desirable but not essential.
Experience on Escalators, Travellators, Gearboxes, motors, HVAC systems and Fabrication desirable but not essential.
Appropriate and recognised technical qualification.
Strong communication skills both written and oral (For H&S reasons, Fluent English language skills are essential.
Computer literate (can demonstrate competency in Microsoft office).
Proven track record of excellent team working/interpersonal skills.
Willingness to adapt and be extremely flexible in a constantly changing environment.
Must be a team player.
Practical, logical aptitude for electrical & mechanical systems maintenance.
Excellent practical demonstrable fault finding and trouble-shooting capability.
Excellent IT skills (can demonstrate competency in Microsoft Office).
Ability to operate and maintain effective information systems (CMMS experience an advantage).
Knowledge of PM optimisation (desirable).
Hold and maintain a full clean driving licence.
Relevant technical qualification in mechanical discipline
