This distinguished hotel collection seeks a Group Marketing Manager to be responsible for developing ongoing marketing and communication strategies to drive revenue and brand voice across the group.
Key responsibilities:
1. Assist Group DOSM and hotel teams to create and implement content plans across all hotels to include social media channels, email communications, press releases and traditional advertising, driving each hotel’s revenue and in line with individual hotel strategies.
2. Manage each hotel’s reputation working with the individual hotel teams, ensuring review sites are updated and 100% response to all online comments and social media queries.
3. Prepare weekly, monthly & annual reports showcasing commercial ROI inclusive of KPI’s across website activity, including booking engine statistics, social media channels & email communications.
4. In conjunction with the Group DOSM and hotel teams, oversee coordination of SEO, PPC, Meta and other digital advertising activities in collaboration with website/digital marketing providers.
5. Responsible for website updates and development, including updating content with hotel teams and Group DOSM, updates including offer campaigns, image/video content on website & ensuring maximum functionality.
6. Manage content, design and coordinate brochures and collateral with hotel teams to ensure brand standards are maintained.
7. Be responsible for ad-hoc promotional collateral as needed for Sales & Marketing needs.
8. Work with Group DOSM in managing third party relationships with PR agencies, design/print agencies, advertising publications and digital marketing agency.
9. Assistance in ad hoc projects with sister properties and parent company as required.
10. Planning and participation on photo shoots in association with Group DOSM as required.
11. Assist Group DOSM in planning, preparation and compilation of annual Sales & Marketing plan.
The ideal candidate:
1. Minimum of three years’ experience as Marketing Manager or equivalent role within a 4/5 star luxury hotel property / hospitality business.
2. Marketing / Communications degree an advantage.
3. Thorough knowledge of marketing processes, website management and design, search engine optimization, link-building and content development.
4. Possess a solid understanding of social media communications, including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Flickr, Instagram, Pinterest, Hootsuite.
5. Ability to work with PDF Editor and Adobe packages.
6. Thorough knowledge of Outlook, MS Office, Windows.
7. Excellent communication skills with fluent English, both oral and written.
8. Ability to work to deadlines and to be proactive.
9. Ability to work a flexible schedule when required.
10. Strong organizational skills, with the capacity to self-prioritize.
