Job Title: Community Integration Worker
A dedicated Social Care Worker with experience in working with families in need is sought for a rewarding career in a well-established homeless and drug service.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the development and execution of the ECRDATF substance misuse strategy alongside community, voluntary, and statutory stakeholders.
* Oversee and supervise volunteers and placements within the East Coast service.
* Collaborate with HR on recruitment, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
* Comply with funding agency verification visits.
* Support and participate in audits and evaluations.
* Maintain accurate paperwork, including client files, accident reports, complaints, and meeting minutes.
* Communicate effectively and report to the Service Coordinator/Manager.
* Stay informed on East Coast region developments.
* Attend relevant committees as directed by the Service Coordinator.
* Continuously develop the role to align with service needs.
Requirements:
* A minimum Third Level 7 Social Care Qualification.
* A minimum 2 years full time relevant employed work experience in addiction, community development, health & social care, education or related fields.
* Experience in key working, case management and group facilitation.
* Understanding of the current National Drugs Strategy, Substance Misuse Strategy, National Drug Rehabilitation Framework, logic model reporting, QUADS and/or Safer Better Healthcare (SBHC) Standards.
* A valid driver's license and access to a car.
