Main Purpose of the Job:
To ensure that customers are served efficiently and that orders are served accurately and with courtesy to the standards required by the Company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive a handover briefing at the start of each shift to stay informed about daily events and special requirements.
* Maintain high levels of hygiene in food and beverage service areas, ensuring they are clean and prepared for service at all times.
* Greet customers warmly and seat them appropriately.
* Ensure accurate till operations and staff use their assigned micros cards.
* Check on guests regularly to ensure they are satisfied with their meal, beverage, and service, providing polite and courteous attention.
* Ensure tables are free of unnecessary items.
* Document quality standards and adhere to them consistently.
* Develop a close working relationship with the Kitchen Team.
* Familiarize yourself with the food and beverage product to communicate it effectively to customers.
* Prioritize efficient service with minimal fuss or delay.
* Perform daily cleaning duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and cleaning equipment.
* Comply with relevant legislation regarding weights and measures, licensing, and under-age drinking.
* Adhere to purchasing and stock control systems and procedures.
* Conduct thorough handovers with incoming shifts, completing checklists, reports, and tasks.
* Collaborate in developing, maintaining, and implementing recorded training for the F&B team.
