THE ROLECorporate Tax Senior - BalbrigganKey Responsibilities Delivering the firm's compliance services to include the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns for both small to medium enterprises and large corporate groups.Preparation and filing of income tax returns for company directors, professionals and other high net worth individualsCoordination of VAT returns on behalf of Irish and International clients to ensure tax compliance and dealing with ad hoc queries in relation to sameMaintaining RCT compliance in respect of Irish and international clients involved in the construction sector to include submission of contract and payment notifications to Revenue and advising clients in respect of RCT queriesLiaising with Revenue in connection with client matters and cooperating with clients to ensure that any problems are resolved.Dealing with internal queries from other teams such as, Insolvency, corporate finance team on tax filings, ROS access de-registering, confirm payments made.Assisting with due-diligence assignments and transactions where appropriate.Dealing with third parties such as local solicitors and company secretarial providerIssuing of fees to clients, debtor and work in progress management.
Main Tasks Corporate and Personal Tax ComplianceSupport to Assistant Managers, Managers, Senior Managers, Directors and Partners in the delivery and execution of tax planning projectsAttend client meetings when appropriate to develop and strengthen client relations and gain exposure to client interactionsDemonstrate knowledge and understanding of the services offered by your department and the wider firm, and identify areas where the firm could assist clientsDelegate work to junior colleagues as and when required, taking responsibility for their utilisation, and assisting by providing effective on the job trainingContribute to our marketing campaigns, including social mediaControl tax administrative tasks to assist with overall management of the compliance process.Identify client service and process improvements and, in conjunction with the wider team, actively promote ideas and suggestions, and participate in all business improvements as part of the firm's commitment to continuous improvement Experience and skill set required for the role:A professional accountancy qualificationNewly qualified or part qualified consideredPrevious experience of working in a similar roleExperience of a client facing roleStrong communication skills - both written and oralAbility to work on own initiative and to tight deadlinesSelf-motivated, with an ability to develop ideas into practice At AAB you will have tremendous opportunities that will meet your career aspirations, working in a progressive,?energetic?and stimulating environment alongside supportive and engaging professional teammates.
