Job Title: Rehabilitation Psychologist
We are an independent voluntary organisation providing services and support for people with disabilities and their families for more than 70 years. Our work positively impacts the lives of over 10,000 people with disabilities, equipping them with the confidence, skills, and self-belief to achieve their expressed goals.
This is a permanent part-time position working 21 hours per week. The role involves developing and implementing psychological interventions that meet individual service-users' needs by providing holistic assessment and direct support and guidance to service-users and staff alike.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant Master's and/or Doctorate level professional qualification in Psychology recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland, chartered membership (or eligible for) with the Psychological Society of Ireland or Chartered membership (or eligible for) of the British Psychological Society, and at least 3 years work experience in the field of Learning Disability/Autism/Mental Health/Physical or Sensory Disability.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Support Planning – Supporting students/service users and the staff that support them to identify personal goals and learning, social, emotional, cognitive needs.
* Psychological Assessment – Undertaking appropriate psychological assessments using data from psychological tests, self-report measures, direct and indirect observations and interviews with students/service users and other stakeholders where appropriate.
* Psychological Intervention & Support – Designing and implementing high-quality, formulation-driven psychological interventions, therapies and supports based on appropriate conceptual frameworks, established evidence-based practice and Rehab Groups commitment to the principles of recovery, co-production, equality, diversity, dignity and respect.
* Practice Support & Systems Level Intervention – Providing support, regular consultation and guidance to staff to help them deliver high-quality support in line with best practice.
The salary for this role is €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
