We have an exciting opportunity for a focused and dynamic Technical Trainer to help shape our learning culture within a challenging, fast paced and highly regulated environment. Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, the Technical Trainer will be responsible for all aspects of technical training from design to delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a comprehensive annual technical training plan for Dublin Aerospace in accordance with the business needs, industry compliance, technical requirements and employee technical development.Prepare a Dublin Aerospace technical training needs analysis.Plan and co-ordinate the approved training plan in accordance with agreed timelines.Ensure all technical training is prepared and delivered in compliance with EASA Part-145, and other applicable regulations.Provide oversight, liaison, and support of trainees and apprentices.Develop, implement and manage e-learning training as an effective and efficient solution to deliver training.Support the induction of new employees through appropriate training programmes.Ensure accurate training records are maintained and updated in accordance with business requirements and to maintain compliance.Identify and propose new training opportunities to improve the performance of the business.Liaise with external bodies and internal stakeholders as appropriate.Manage the training budget to achieve maximum return on investment and expenditure.External & internal reporting as appropriate.Skills and Experience: Hold an Aircraft Engineering degree or EASA Part 66 aircraft maintenance engineer's Cat B1/B2 licence.A minimum of 3 years aircraft maintenance experience and having in-depth knowledge of Part 145 regulations, continuing airworthiness regulations and principles, technical planning and engineering processes.Proven training instruction experience in a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisation or Part 147 training organisation.An energetic, dedicated approach combined with excellent organisation skills and a commitment to deadlines, targets and high work standards.Strong interpersonal, collaboration and influencing skills.Commitment to company values and ethics.
