Manufacturing & Quality Engineers, Project Managers & Technicians are directly involved new product introductions, product transfers and validating/continuously improving product lines by ensuring time-efficient and cost-effective processes while maintaining overall product quality and compliance.Come for a job, stay for a career!A Day in The Life Of:Participate in / Lead projects related to the transfer or development and manufacturing for small capital medical devices.Develop/review validation documentation related to the implementation of manufacturing and service processes.Drafting SOP’s, data recording templates.Perform / Coordinate performance of validation and qualification activities with attention to detail and ensuring compliance with Good Documentation Practices.Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques.Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.Key Skills & Experience Level 7 Bachelor’s degree qualification in a technical discipline required.Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Medical Device Industry.Experience in generating and executing project plans.Experience in technical problem solving and root cause analysis methodologies.Familiarity with polymer processing technologies & methods.Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize deliverables based upon project criticality.Team player, with experience working in a matrix organizational structure.Proficient in both written and oral communication.Ability to analyse data using Mintab or other statistical software packages.Medtronic offer a competitive salary and flexible Benefits Package#IJPhysical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
