The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Planner with 2-5 years of professional experience, ideally within private practice, to join our Dublin office. In this role, you will assist with delivering planning permissions for a variety of high-profile and complex projects. You will play a vital role in ensuring environmental principles are integrated into every stage of the planning process, contributing to the sustainable development of communities and industries alike.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to preparing planning applications for diverse projects, including residential, commercial, ports, and renewable energy developments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Conduct site appraisals, planning assessments, and environmental evaluations.
Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients to progress projects efficiently.
Stay updated on Irish planning policies, legislation, and best practices to provide expert advice.
Contribute to environmental assessments, ensuring compliance with key environmental principles and regulations.
Support senior team members in project delivery while taking increasing responsibility for your own projects.
What We’re Looking For:
2-5 years’ experience in planning, preferably within private practice.
Strong knowledge of the Irish planning framework, policies, and procedures.
Proven track record of delivering successful planning permissions across varied project types.
Understanding of key environmental principles and sustainability in planning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
