The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with a deep understanding of technical sales in our key market segments: Medical Device, Electronics / Semiconductor and Aerospace industries in Ireland. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, driving sales growth, and building strong relationships with clients. If you are passionate about delivering cutting-edge technologies into these segments, have excellent communication skills, and a talent for building relationships, we would love to hear from you.TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESGenerate profitable sales for product portfolio in line with sales targetsPromote products to existing and new customers on a regular call cycleAdvise customers of updates and new technologiesBuild and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers and customers, identifying key decision makers, maintaining regular contact, and developing relationships into lasting business partnershipsDevelop sales campaigns, source new customers and markets and persuade them to purchase products, leading price negotiations and closing salesIntroduce new products to existing and new customersDemonstrate products and educate customers about the functions of the productProvide customers with excellent post-sale follow up e.g. TrainingStrong use of company sales pipeline and quotation management tools consistently and effectively to support sales goals – currently Salesforce CRMPropose and deliver new agenciesMaintain clear and up to date calendar and call plansTake responsibility for the preparation of proposals, tenders and quotationsStrong knowledge of competitors’ activities and productsPlan and attend and promote the company and its products at trade exhibitions, meetings and work visitsMaintain up to date and accurate records for product range and supply records/reports/information to the sales manager in line with agreed formats and timeframesIdentify and develop business improvement initiativesDevelop market plan, taking account of product life cycle, market trends and maturityPro-actively identify opportunities to sell Brennan & Company products and services outside of own product portfolioParticipate in sales meetings and/or promotional activities as requested by the Head of SalesOther ad-hoc duties, projects and assignments as needed or directedSKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREDRelevant qualification to degree level in a scientific or related field desirable but not mandatoryMinimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role with a successful sales track recordExceptional commercial ability, capable of negotiating and executing on significant commercial dealsExcellent customer relationship management skills with the ability to manage accounts and build relationshipsAbility to identify, close and maximize opportunities and develop them to long term businessExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels in and outside the companySelf-starter with demonstrated initiative with high sense of urgency and commitment to executeAbility to multi-task, skill in establishing priorities and managing workloads, including ability to work effectively under stress and time pressuresGood planning, organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients and colleaguesAbility to be flexible and to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations or individualsProfessional who is experienced and dependable with discretion, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.PC Expertise with proficiency in Microsoft applicationsClean full driving licenseFlexibility to travel
