Retail Store Manager - Cork City (Charity Shop - New Store Opening)
We are seeking a motivated and community-minded Retail Store Manager to join our charity retail team. As a leader, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, supporting staff and volunteers, and driving sales—all to help fund vital services and programs.
Responsibilities:
* Meet and manage store targets, budgets, and KPIs
* Stock Management
* Sales Management
* Staff Management and Administration
* Developing staff skills and abilities
* Recruiting, training, supervising, and appraising staff
* Maintaining statistical and financial records
* Handling customer queries and complaints
* Overseeing pricing and stock control
* Maximizing profitability and setting/selling sales targets
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
* Preparing promotional materials and displays
* Liaising with head office
Requirements:
* At least 2 years of previous Retail Management experience
* A positive attitude and enthusiasm towards customers and the team
* Excellent knowledge of retail management principles
* Comfortable working with numbers and reports
